MARTY BALIN (OF JEFFERSON AIRPLANE/JEFFERSON STARSHIP):

In 1965, Balin met singer/guitarist Paul Kantner at the local club the Drinking Gourd, and together they formed Jefferson Airplane. Initially a folk-rock venture, the group came to epitomize the nascent psychedelic scene, added vocalist Grace Slick, and scored a gold record with their 1967 sophomore LP Surrealistic Pillow which featured the worldwide hits "White Rabbit" and "Somebody to Love". Follow-up hits included "Volunteers", "Crown of Creation", "Wooden Ships", and "Plastic Fantastic Lover". Balin's soulful tenor proved a pivotal element of their sound, and he also wrote many of these key compositions. After a brief hiatus from the band, in early 1975 he rejoined the newly rechristened Jefferson Starship, contributing perhaps his most memorable effort with the international number one single, "Miracles." Balin also sang lead on the Top 10 hits "With Your Love", "Runaway", and "Count on Me," but he again left the group in 1978. He mounted a solo career with 1981's self-titled album, which generated the massive international Top 10 hit, "Hearts", and its Top 20 follow-up, "Atlanta Lady." He has continued to tour and play with various incarnations of Jefferson Starship as well as touring on his own playing hits spanning his illustrious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame career.

TERRY SYLVESTER (OF THE HOLLIES):
Terry Sylvester was born in Liverpool, England. In January 1966, when guitarist Ralph Ellis decided to leave the Swinging Blue Jeans, Terry was asked to join the group. The Swinging Blue Jeans had a number of hit records including 'Hippy Hippy Shake', 'Good Golly Miss Molly' & 'You're No Good'. From 1966 to 1969 Terry toured the UK and Europe continuously, and appeared on numerous TV and radio shows. In December 1968, Graham Nash left the Hollies to form Crosby, Stills, & Nash. The remaining members of the Hollies remembered Terry from the Blue Jeans, contact was made and the rest, as they say, is history. Terry's first single with the Hollies 'Sorry Suzanne' reached number 3 in the UK charts and established the group once again as a top ten hit making act. Terry's first album 'Hollies Sing Dylan' went even further, all the way to number 1. Soon after, they recorded 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother', with a then unknown session man, Elton John, playing piano. The song became a worldwide number one hit, and remains to this day an anthem for those who choose to help people less fortunate than themselves. More massive international hits followed, including the follow-up single 'I Can't Tell The Bottom From The Top', 'Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress', 'Long Dark Road', 'Gasoline Ally Bred', and the 1974 universal classic love song, 'The Air That I Breathe'. These songs joined earlier Hollies classics like "Bus Stop", "Just One Look", "Carrie Anne", and "Look Through Any Window". Terry continues to tour actively worldwide and performs songs from every stage of his illustrious career.

AMBROSIA:

The steady buzz surrounding Ambrosia isn't surprising given the heights the band scaled during the 70's and early 80's. Top 10 hits such as "Biggest Part of Me", "How Much I Feel", "Nice, Nice, Very Nice", "You're the Only Woman", and "Holdin' on to Yesterday" have earned the band five Grammy nominations, continual radio air play, and multi-platinum status. During that time the group also scored a top 40 hit with a cover of the Beatles classic "Magical Mystery Tour", from the motion picture "All This And WWII". In 1997, Warner Bros. released Ambrosia's long awaited greatest hits CD, Anthology, an incredible album that spans the group's entire career. In 1999, VH-1 featured them on their highly acclaimed "Where Are They Now?" series, which prompted a huge surge of new interest in the band, and led to several more television appearances including a spotlight on TNN'S "Classic Rock" special, which tuned in over 5 million viewers. They remain an active touring band playing dozens of shows around the world on a yearly basis.
